The first day of school is quickly approaching and back to school shopping is in full swing. Students were sent home for summer vacation with special letters from their new teacher in the fall. Along with the letter teachers listed the supplies the students will need for the first day of school. For families struggling financially, it may not be possible to afford the essential supplies and this could leave students unprepared to start school.
