The Rochester Fair Association was founded in 1847 and has become a tradition for families for generations. Locals gather annually to enjoy the rides, food, farm animals, as well as exploring the Exhibition Building.

Norm Vetter, President of the Rochester Fair has reached out to the public to help save the Rochester Fair! The Rochester Fair is in as much as $1 million in financial trouble which threatens the fair from opening this September. The Rochester Fair is a non-profit organization and costs are entirely supported by the revenue generated from the fair without financial support of the city and state; unlike other fairs across the country. Vetter is staying in high spirits that the community and shareholders will be able to collect enough money to open the fair in September. (Source: Fosters.com)
