A local landmark has closed its doors recently. The Yangtze Restaurant in Dover is no more. The “Yang” holds a special place in the heart of our owner and his girlfriend.
In September of 2012 a mutual friend of theirs who worked at the restaurant insisted that the two go on a blind date together!! Finally, two months later they did! They have been happily attached at the hip ever since and very much in love!! Recently, First City found out that the original “entrance way” sign for the Yangtze was sitting alongside of the old Yang Building. Our owner contacted the new owners about purchasing the sign. They were kind enough to let us buy it!!
Come to our 4 Flagg Road store in Gonic to see it all shined up and on display!
